👩🏻‍🎨✨不約而遇的美好時刻✨👨🏻‍🎨今天小妹即興來到儒林台欣賞黃花風鈴木，竟然巧遇了正在速寫的@fatlundraw ！我都畫埋一份，完全忘記了打卡。原來儒林台在下午五六點左右，街坊和外傭們會帶著狗狗來這裡散步，形成了一個每日的小聚會。速寫的時候，耳邊不時傳來外語的聊天聲和狗狗的叫聲，讓整個過程更加生動有趣！更令人驚喜的是，街坊們輕鬆辨認出圖中左下角的人和狗，分別是Glecy和她的金毛尋回犬Soju，這樣的畫面真是讓人心暖🫶🏻🦮！

🌸祝大家過一個紅粉菲菲、要乜有乜嘅新年🌸今年小妹第一次踏足澳洲，西澳有很多令人讚嘆的自然風光，最喜歡的是赫特潟湖（Hutt Lagoon)，旅館房東說這個看到這麼粉紅的湖水是十分幸運的，如能夠看到藍天，湖水就看起來越粉紅。

另一喜歡的是自然之窗（Nature’s window），這是以千至萬年計的自然力量形成了舉世無雙的「窗」，相片未能夠完全展示它的美，誠意推薦大家親身過來欣賞。

🌸 Wishing everyone a fabulous Chinese New Year filled with all your desires! 🌸 This year, I’m stepping foot in Australia for the first time. Western Australia has so many breathtaking natural sights. My favorite is Hutt Lagoon; the host at my AirBnb said it‘s a rare treat to see such pink water, and if the sky is blue, the lake looks even pinker.

Another spot I loved is Nature’s Window. It’s this incredible “window” shaped by nature over thousands of years. Pictures don’t do it justice, so I highly recommend coming to see it in person!

🌅西貢海藝術節到1月12日（星期日）就完啦！小妹去咗橋咀洲行山，仲欣賞咗啲本地藝術品。搭西貢碼頭出發，15分鐘就到橋咀洲，真係方便又可以睇到靚景👀。橋咀洲經歷過地殼變動同火山爆發，經過1億4千多萬年嘅沉積同風化，形成咗連島沙洲嘅奇景。同三五好友一齊曬住太陽行山、寫生、欣賞藝術品，真係又健康又獨特嘅藝術體驗！🌊🥾🗻

The Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival wraps up on January 12 (Sunday)! I went hiking at Sharp Island and checked out some local art. It’s just a 15-minute ride from Sai Kung Pier, so super convenient and you get to see some beautiful views too 👀. Sharp Island has gone through tectonic shifts and volcanic eruptions, and after over 140 million years of sediment and weathering, it’s created this amazing sandbar landscape. Hiking under the sun with a few friends, sketching, and enjoying the art is such a healthy and unique experience! 🌊🥾🗻

🎄老派香港人的聖誕派對：歡送鴻運冰廳餅店☕️
今年聖誕係50年老店鴻運冰廳餅店光榮結業的大日子，就算大家未去過餅店，都一定喺星爺飾演何金水嘅《行運一條龍》睇過；當年呢套戲係賀歲片，鴻運選擇喺聖誕節結業，就似邀請大家到此歡度佳節，開開心心咁同老香港嘅一部份說再見。

喺呢度我過咗一個好奇妙嘅聖誕：講求快來快去嘅茶餐廳，喺鴻運夥計、客人友善嘅氣氛下，我竟然可以坐喺卡位喺現場完成到速寫，計埋食嘢畫畫傾偈打卡，不知不覺就坐咗喺度兩個鐘！呢兩個鐘同枱嘅人不停咁轉：來自天水圍特登出嚟朝聖嘅街坊、熱血的傳媒朋友方寧 @no_ff_plz 及盧曼盈@manyinglo 、畫友Natalie @littlenatxpp 同埋我另一半，所以喺現場速寫冇壓力，仲越畫越開心，分享畫作時跟馬氏老闆一家成為朋友呢！

全店最元老嘅員工係庭叔，80歲，全日係咁上落閣樓落單運送食物飲品，但完全冇喘氣手震，佩服佩服！

在此祝馬老闆和庭叔退休生活愉快，闔家歡樂健康過肥年✨

🎄Old-School Hong Kongers‘ Christmas Party: Farewell to Hung Wan Cafe ☕️🎅🏻

This Christmas marks the glorious closure of Hung Wan Cafe, a 50-year-old establishment. Even if you’ve never been there, you’ve probably seen it in Stephen Chow’s movie ”The Lucky Guy.“ Back then, it was a festive film, and Hung Wan chose Christmas to be the last day, almost like inviting everyone to celebrate the season and say goodbye to that piece of old Hong Kong with joy.

I had a wonderfully unique Christmas there. In the usually fast-paced atmosphere of a Cha Chaan Teng, I found myself sitting comfortably, sketching live while enjoying food and chatting. Before I knew it, I had spent two whole hours there! The people at my table kept changing: neighbors who came from Tin Shui Wai, my passionate media friend Mr. Fang, my artist friend Natalie, and my better half. It was so relaxed that the more I drew, the happier I became. We even became friends with the Ma family while sharing my artwork!

I wish Mr. Ma a joyful retirement and a happy, healthy new year with his family! ✨

我被荃灣新舊交融的景象所吸引，其中一個我喜歡的畫面是從愉景新城停車場望出去的青山公路荃灣段及大涌道交界處的一番風景：

前景是一棵位於青山公路荃灣段 427 號的唐樓，地面層是地舖，一、二樓則是商住兩用的單位。從石屎牆上可以看到，這裏以前是一所幼稚園，因為牆上畫了不少八、九十年代的盗版卡通人物，這都是常見於那個年代的幼稚園招牌。而現在樓上變成了招牌製作公司，再上一層則是一家有十幾年歷史的按摩店：港益子足底按摩。按摩店對面就是連接愉景新城、大涌道及香車街的行人天橋。天台上佈滿天線、植物和隨風飄揚的衣物，而當我在此寫生的時候，正好是日落時份，怡巧有兩位街坊正在將晾曬好的床褥搬離天台，充滿生活感！

I am captivated by the blend of old and new in Tsuen Wan, and one of my favorite scenes is the view from the parking lot of D Park, looking out at the intersection of Castle Peak Road (Tsuen Wan Section) and Tai Chung Road.
In the foreground is a tong lau (traditional tenement building) located at 427 Castle Peak Road (Tsuen Wan Section), with ground-floor shops and residential units on the first and second floors. The concrete wall shows that this used to be a kindergarten, as it features many pirated cartoon characters from the 80s and 90s, which were common signs in kindergartens of that era. Now, the upper floors have been transformed into a sign-making company, and above that is a foot massage shop with over ten years of history.

Opposite the massage shop is a footbridge connecting Yueng King City, Tai Chung Road, and Sheung Shing Street. The rooftop is filled with antennas, plants, and clothes flapping in the wind. When I was sketching there, it was just at sunset, and coincidentally, two neighbors were moving freshly dried mattresses off the roof, adding a vibrant sense of life to the scene!

牛腩🐮蔥油餅🫓豆漿涼粉🥛位於黃大仙市中心的竹園聯合村，與牛池灣村都是香港最交通便利的寮屋區，可惜它們都面臨清拆。昨天小妹終於到竹園聯合村走了一圈，並拜訪了林記牛雜麵及蔥油餅婆婆👵🏼。

老規矩：先課金支持小店。我嚐了林記牛雜麵的四餸河粉：蘿蔔、牛腩、咖喱魚蛋、豬皮，牛腩夠肥，一咬便滿口牛油香，是我杯茶！小妹選擇為這裡速寫，是因為林記與一棵高大的菩提樹完美結合起來🌳老闆娘林太40多年前開始經營麵店時，這棵樹還只是一棵幼苗；「我哋嘅牛腩汁令到呢棵樹變得健康粗壯，哈哈！」林太開玩笑說，現在此大樹已經能夠為林記遮風擋雨，店樹合一🌳🍜

至於在轉角村巷中的蔥油餅婆婆，即叫即做的蔥油餅十分香脆，看似簡單但充滿溫度的懷舊小食✨婆婆的豆漿涼粉亦十分特別，因涼粉切成絲狀後，涼粉不會像「珍珠」在飲筒之間卡住，也不用特意費力才能吸啜，所以飲得好爽，又充滿口感，個人覺得此飲品比珍珠奶茶吸引得多。可惜相逢恨晚，蔥油餅婆婆說2024年12月1日是他最後的營業日，如果今日大家方便，誠邀大家到竹園聯合村一趟！

荃灣西的浪漫：與龍友一起欣賞汀九日落🌅每年10月底至11月初，夕陽會落到汀九橋橋欖中間，所以眾多龍友都喺度捕捉呢一刻。

11月1日我看到了搬到荃灣以來最靚嘅日落，下午5:30我跑步到荃灣西海濱公園，現場幾十位龍友已經在海旁部署好，但幸好仍有位置讓我觀賞。太陽本來不能直視，但當他落到汀九橋底的時候他就變得溫柔起來，肉眼漸漸能夠直視這粒鹹蛋黃，旁邊的快門像拍翼般跳動，像要追上斜陽的節奏。

集體欣賞大自然的美好是另一種感動，提醒我人的快樂可以很簡單：享受大自然的禮物。

Romance in Tsuen Wan West: Enjoying the Sunset with photographers 🌅

Every year from late October to early November, the sunset falls perfectly between the pillars of Ting Kau Bridge, and a bunch of friends gather to capture that moment. On November 1st, I saw the most beautiful sunset since moving to Tsuen Wan! I dashed over to Tsuen Wan West Waterfront Park around 5:30 PM, and there were already dozens of friends set up by the seaside, but thankfully, I found a spot to enjoy it too.

At first, the sun was too bright to look at, but as it dipped below the bridge, it softened up, and I could finally gaze at that golden orb. The camera shutters around me clicked away like wings fluttering, all trying to keep up with the rhythm of the setting sun.

Experiencing the beauty of nature together is such a special feeling. It really reminds me that happiness can be so simple: just enjoying the gifts of nature.

Le Train Bleu位於車水馬龍、遊人如織的火車站Gare de Lyon裡面，但這裏提供的不是連鎖式店快餐，反而是超華麗的用餐環境及高質餐飲。

這裏的甜品Baba au rhum （巴巴冧酒蛋糕）令我最印象深刻，甜甜的、充滿氣孔及鬆軟的海綿蛋糕成為最佳的烈酒載體，酒的份量由大家控制，又好味又有玩味。

感謝另一半Edward 在這巴黎之旅從沒有催促我完成速寫作品，讓大家都有一個真正放鬆的假期。

**Le Train Bleu** is tucked away in the lively and crowded Gare de Lyon train station, but don’t expect fast food here. It’s all about a fancy dining experience with top-notch food.

The dessert that really blew me away was the **Baba au rhum** (rum baba). It’s a sweet, fluffy sponge cake that’s full of holes, making it the perfect way to soak up the rum. You get to decide how much alcohol to add, which is both tasty and fun.

A big shoutout to my better half @totoedwardto for not rushing me to finish my sketches during our Paris trip. It really let us kick back and enjoy our vacation!

The Eiffel Tower looks stunning from every angle! This time, I chose to sketch at the Palais de Chaillot in Trocadero. Watching it sparkle at 9 PM feels like a million diamonds shining together—so beautiful! ✨✨✨

初遊愛丁堡，感覺是一個十分宜居、舒適、富歷史感及富有活力的城市，在這裏我發現城市規劃的重要性，例如這裏的新舊建築的色調及高度都相約，眼睛就不會有太多視覺刺激，在街上走路就像望着一片樹林般舒服。

在愛丁堡 Calton hill俯瞰城市全景、日落寫生更是一流的享受，之後與這裏的一名移英港人聊天，他已經在這裏安居樂業，享受這裏的生活。

On my first visit to Edinburgh, I found it to be a very livable, comfortable city rich in history and vitality. Here, I realized the importance of urban planning; for instance, the tones and heights of the new and old buildings are similar, which minimizes visual stimulation and makes walking down the streets feel as comfortable as looking at a forest.

Overlooking the cityscape from Calton Hill in Edinburgh and sketching the sunset is truly a wonderful experience. Afterwards, I chatted with a Hong Kong expatriate who has settled here and is enjoying life in this city.
