ToWaiWai crossing the Peak 小杜惠翻越太平山

It is my pleasure to join the young artist-in-residence program in V54, a French-style vintage building in Happy Valley, where holds horse racing events every week. It is my first time to be part of a neighborhood on Hong Kong Island. As a return to the program, I have created a big piece of work just for V54, Towaiwai crossing the Peak, which is inspired by the famous French masterpiece Napoleon Crossing the Alps.

2023年4月我完成了一幅大畫作，作為回饋V54年青藝術家駐留計劃。V54是一座擁有百年歷史的法式建築，因此我選擇了法國名畫《拿破崙翻越阿爾卑斯山》進行了二次創作，成為《小杜惠翻越太平山》。透過這幅作品，我將法國文化、跑馬地、小杜惠和菠蘿貓進行了聯繫。
