Glimpses of Kowloon City 龍城掠影
 

Kowloon City is a historic district indulged in rich cultural atmosphere. Being a well-known food paradise and a diverse community full of local characteristics, the district has been sealed in the collective memory of different generations of Hong Kong people. The Cattle Depot Artist Village, 13 Streets, To Kwa Wan Recreation Ground as well as the signature foods of the district are chosen to be the theme of this art work. By portraying the unique landmarks in Kowloon City and its integration of historic and modern communities, the murals lead you into the time tunnel and immerse you in the beauty of the old Kowloon City as well as its unique charm of today.

 

九龍城區歷史悠久，充滿豐富的文化氣息，既是享負盛名的美食天堂和具有本地特色的多元化社區，亦是不同年代市民的集體回憶。本作品以牛棚藝術村、十三街、土瓜灣遊樂場以及區內的招牌美食等為題材，透過壁畫呈現九龍城區的新舊社區面貌和獨有地標，引領市民走進時光隧道，一同緬懷九龍城的過去，並感受其今日的獨特魅力。
